Had our company dinner and dance last Friday. Held at Carlton Hotel this year, food wise so-so, program wise so-so too... Haha.. I think last year's program is better. Prizes are better too.. This year, everything seems so-so only.. Haha, perhaps I have higher expectation.

:: Tattoos ::

Alright, I have to say I've been so tempted to get a tattoo since I was like 18 or 19... It's been 8 long years and I haven got down to doing it. I simply do not have the courage to go under the needles though I'm not afraid of injections. But I know, it's simply not the same.

Recently, I was even more tempted to have a tattoo done. I know, I'm way past the rebellious age of having tattoos on my body but at least if I do it now, I know I'm not doing it for the sake of rebelling.

I even told my dad about and he's pretty cool about it and even say "Let's go and do it together" wahaha... where to find such cool dad right? keke

I'm seriously looking for a design now. A butterfly? An angel? A pair of wing? Do it on the ankle? On my wrist? or my lower back?
This is something I have to think about it carefully since it's going to be with me for life.

Haiz, dunno what is wrong with the image uploader of blogger, simply can't upload the photos we took in Bangkok. Seriously consider "migrating" to Multiply.

Had a week mc cos of my wisdom tooth.. Arghhh, it's painful. My 2nd molar is causing me problem too. I think my toothache is caused by the molar tooth, not my wisdom. But getting it remove is might as well.

Went to watch Enchanted with Dar on Saturday. It was a splendid movie. Amy Adams as Princess Giselle is gorgeous. She seriously look like a princess came alive. Patrick Dempsey is so handsome as real-life Prince Charming.. A pity, I can't load any of the photos here. I will do it once I have the chance.

I have to admit, I'm simply too lazy to write lately. Sorrieeee~~

Too many things happen over the past few months. Shan't elaborate. Just hope all will be well again and some bugger will juz disappear into thin air if not I know i know what i'll do...

Well, we have successfully rent out our unit for a whooping $2k per month *envy me* haha. but well, though there's extra income, but it's meant for our future renovation...

Congratulation to ME! I'm finally done with my final paper on 12 Nov 2007! That makes me a free woman! The result will be out on 12 Dec *cross fingers* please let me go through it smoothly so that i'll be in Perth next year for my convocation.

Did I say I'll be going to Perth on 5th Dec? Haha, seems like I'm so in love with Perth that I need to visit the beautiful city every year. My last trip was Jul 06, this year Dec 07 and coming up next is Feb 08! Woohoo! I'll be spending my 2008 CNY over there as well.

Oops! Seems like I've forgotten to post up the photos of our Bangkok Trip.. I have to say, Dream Hotel Bangkok, is darn luxury. We stayed in their one and only Dream Suite. Gosh! dream comes true.. I'll post up the photos soon. Check it out!

Goodness me! I have been shopping non-stop lately. I got a pair of nice army green skirt from G2000 Blu yesterday and a shocking pink Puma top.. Gosh! It seems like i'm on a retail therapy but i'm so broke from it.

I'm waiting for my new white Chloe Paddington bag to arrive. Going to collect my 15 pairs of eyelashes from Fei and what else? I'm lemming for a Lacoste tote bag in Pink and I want to get a pair of pointed canvas shoes..

I saw one tat i like but it's not exactly pointed. But it's from Everlast. Should I get it??

And I'm going to Bangkok this weekend when I'm so broke.. OMG!

I was supposed to get wasted on Wednesday but somehow the drinks on the eve of a public holiday somehow just get to diluted.

If it wasn't for someone meeting a bitch and some frenz, I wouldn't know how out-dated I am with the clubbing scene.

But literally, my fren gave me a new nick name: Club Hopper.. haha.. Why the new nick? I was hopping from Clinic (drinks are lousy and they are revamping their outlet), Zouk (What a queue! This is crazy), St James Power House (1st and my last time into Dragonfly. OMG, can someone tell those uncles and aunties to stay at home instead) and in the end, I landed in Cafe Del Mar (Cool! plus the company is great!!)

Somehow, i didn't get wasted though i was drinking alot.. haha...
So please, serve me better liquor, shooters and long island doesn't work for me anymore

Yes! I'm seriously going on a diet... No.. I'm not going to stop eating. That's a very very very unhealthy way of slimming down. I'm going for less carbo, more exercise...

After browsing through the photos when I'm in Perth (July 2006) and Adelaide (April 2007), I see a difference... I put on alot... Must be the infrequent timing for my meals.

Did I ever mention my breakfast is at 10am, lunch at 3pm and dinner at 9pm since I join CBT? Gosh! What am I doing to my body... Nooooo... Going to eat healthily and on regular timing from August onwards...

:: Bag of Potatoes ::

One of my teachers had each one of us bring a clear plastic bag and a sack of potatoes to class. For every person we'd refuse to forgive in our life, we were told to choose a potato, write on it the name and date, and put it in the plastic bag. Some of our bags, as you can imagine, were quite heavy.We were then told to carry this bag with us everywhere for one week, putting it beside our bed at night, on the car seat when driving, next to our desk at work.The hassle of lugging this around with us made it clear what a weight we were carrying spiritually, and how we had to pay attention to it all the time to not forget, and keep leaving it in embarrassing places.Naturally, the condition of the potatoes deteriorated to a nasty slime. This was a great metaphor for the price we pay for keeping our pain and heavy negativity!Too often we think of forgiveness as a gift to the other person, and while that's true, it clearly is also a gift for ourselves!

:: Pink Monday ::

It's Monday. Supposed to be a blue monday cos it's my BIRTHDAY and my Ecualyptus Tree is not in Singapore. The morning started like any other morning same goes for the afternoon... But guess what? I've got a pleasant surprise from my sweet colleagues just before I knock off. Calisa (my mentor/ mummy) was in cahoot with Keong, Yinfeng etc to have this mini celebration for me. They gotten me a yummilicious chocolate cake from Han's and a pretty pink Hello Kitty keyboard!! *Woohoo*

My blue Monday became a Pink Monday for once...

:: My Advance Birthday Celebration ::

I had my advance birthday celebration today. Haha, to think that I was still quite upset with him initially for not celebrating my b'dae as he is supposed to fly off to Wuxi on Sunday. We went for Transformers and my god! it was a superb show. Thumbs up! Toes up!! Best show... I was totally whelmed by the Autobots and Decepticons. And the cute yellow bumble bee... I love how Optimus Prime look.. Totally cool and grand! We had our dinner at Creations. Good food at a reasonable price. Dar gave me a surprise pressie... Another diamond ring.... Hmm, he is definitely setting himself a standard by giving me at least a diamond every year... And I'm loving it...

:: I hate renovation ::

Sometimes I realli hate all these renovation thing. It makes us argue and argue... He is keeping too many things to himself and always want things his way. I hate it. I also hate some nosey parker who simply likes to stick their nose into everything we do. So what if you are paying it?

Everytime I see ppl doing up their dream house, they seems so happy but I am not happy at all! In fact I resented talking to him about anything that has got to do with renovation.

Anyway, it's a good break for 2 weeks and I am not going to miss him and will enjoy myself thoroughly! Finally I am free again

I dun think i can communicate with you. Everytime we talk, we ended up in a quarrel!
I hate it! Money Money Money is all you can think of! I think you are too stubborn to listen! Too egoistic! One day you will find yourself in trouble becos of your egoism! What's going on in your mind? I think you are too inflexible. Didn't it occur to you that I can't be bothered to retaliate these days? Not becos I listen or give in to you, it's becos I'm tired of whatever is happening. Sometimes I regret my decision. Maybe this is the time I make a realli wrong move.

:: Dreamy Princess Revived ::

Oh gosh! Didn't realise it's been such a long long long time since I last update my blog. So many new happenings. I have gotten married for almost half a year (tho it's just ROM) heehee...

Anyway, we start a blog together too, but life have been too bz that we didn't realli update it very frequently (Oops)

I think i need to change my blog skin too. The cute pic is missing. Need to find a new one soon...

I have also gotten myself a new look, chop off my long locks and in turn I am a black hair dolly now. Life has been different ever since I started working in CBT. Busy busy busy is all I can say. This e-Marketing position is realli not easy. Initially, I really have this idea of giving it up, but I think my level of tolerance has increased tremendously that even I myself am surprised that I can endure this long. Anyway, I will keep updating this space on my work.

Recently dear and I have gotten our own house and has been busy hunting for IDs and meeting up with them. Will update more on that too... Can't wait for our own house to be ready...

:: Busy Buzzy Bee ::

It's been a long long time since i last wrote here. Maybe the novelty had worn off. Maybe i dun realli have anything to whine about. Maybe i just can't be bothered to write anymore. Hahaha... But well, it's been a few busy months for me.

Since I came back from Perth, it seems like time has stopped there. My soul is living in Perth though my body is here. Semester 2 had started and almost finishing with tonnes and tonnes of project to be completed.

And yes, I am busy with my ROM preparation. Ms Saver Seah and Mrs Spender Seah have been busy hunting for the right location for their ROM. We have been to Amara Hotel, Carlton Hotel and Merchant Court for hotel inspection. We were enchanted by the beauty of the poolside of Merchant Court and was 80% firmed that we wanted our solemnisation there. But, we weren't too happy with the package they gave us and they are not willing to even budge abit.. So there goes them.. We dropped them in the end and found a even nicer place. The V Tea Room... We love the place sooo much that we almost place a deposit with them immediately. And well, The V Tea Room is the winner ultimately.. Though it is going to cost us much more than having it at Merchant Court, we believe the money will be well-spent.

We also had our ring customised at Fairy Inc. Troublesome Mrs Spender Seah made Mr Saver Seah went there 3 times before confirming the design of our wedding band. A pair of customised wedding band cost us S$2000. Not too bad, it's going to be for life. We are going for our fitting in early November too.

Mrs Spender Seah had her ROM dress custom made at Zann & Denn too... Kenny, the designer designed a princessy dress for me. My first fitting will be on the 4th Nov. Hopefully it'll turn out gorgeous.

I'm still hunting for my Make-up artiste though more or less I know who I'm going to engaged.

I will post picture of our wedding band and my ROM dress when they are ready... Kekeke

I'm gonna take the midnight flight SQ226. All 50 of us met at Changi Airport and can't wait to get to Perth... Dar, Mommy and Daddy sent me to the airport... Little June is in Melbourne... How I wish I'm going to Melbourne too... But Perth is just as well... Goodness me.. You can't believe my luggage is 20kg.. That's so crazy... Alright, it's winter there and I have to pack some winter clothings there...

Arrive in Perth International airport around 7am... No time difference (For those who are not sure)Cool air welcomes me and YES! I'm in Perth... The coach pick us up at around 8am for Curtin campus... Our lecturer Corey was there to meet us... All of us were so stoned (I believe so... at least for me cos I didn't sleep a wink while on the flight)Played games and treasure hunt the whole campus... Feels like freshmen orientation... I love campus life...







Check in to Mont Clare Apartment... My "home" for the next 1 week... Cool, Spacious 2 bedroom apartment, fully equipped, even the groceries are stock up (No worries about being hungry at night). Dinner is served at K Cafe, juz next to Mont Clare Apartment... Nice dinner i should say... Straight back to my room after dinner... Dear tired...

:: After a war ::

Good gracious! I didn't realise I haven't been doing any updates for the past 1 month... Gosh! Wat have I been doing???

Well, anyway, finally the "war" with the books have finally ended... (At least for this sem, alright)... Finish my final "fighting" last thursday evening... That was a tough fight boy... It was all because of the "General of RMD" feeding us with insufficient info and leaving us to fight the war ourselves... Fine! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed... Please let me have the victory...

After the "war", Clarice and I went for Ben & Jerry... Yummy Yummy... Delicious!! I simply love it...

On Saturday, went to meet "Mahathir" with Dar... Long queue at the custom... Too bad I didn't have any special privilege to juz go through the custom (even tho I'm meeting "Mahathir") hahaha... Well, bought a pair of new Levi's Marrissa bootcut... I love the cutting of this jeans... Also bought a cream top at onli S$24...

Sunday is Daddy's Day... We gonna have our celebration on Tuesday! But I whip up a nice meal of soup, sweet and sour pork and some veg for Dad! My first try in cooking swwet and sour pork and it is still not too bad... Dad and Dar did give me credit for it... Intially, we planned to go Phoenix Hotel for Daddy's Day dinner, but Dad didn't want us to spend $$ so Mommy is gonna cook chilli crab and oatmeal prawn tonite... Yummy... Juz the thought of it makes me drool... Kekeke...

Have you ever wonder what goes on over the other side of the world? What is there over at both end of the world (i.e. North Pole and South Pole)?

I am so amazed with Mother Nature... Especially in the Artic Region... The Artic is a vast, ice-covered ocean surrounded by tree-less, frozen ground, that teems with life, including organisms living in the ice, fish and marine mammals, birds, land animals and human societies.

Most importantly, I love the Aurora (or Northern Lights)... They are all so beautiful and so amazing that it is created by elements that we can never see but yet surround us... It is like a painted sky to me...

Aurora is a beautiful natural phenomenon that often occurs in the polar regions of Earth. It appears as colorful clouds and rays of green and red (and sometimes blue) light that dance across the sky. The aurora borealis and aurora australis (Latin for "northern" and "southern" dawn, respectively) occur in symmetric ovals centered on the northern and southern magnetic poles of Earth. The aurora is formed when charged particles (electrons and protons) are guided by the Earth's magnetic field into the atmosphere near the poles. When these particles collide with atoms and molecules of the upper atmosphere, primarily oxygen and nitrogen, some of the energy in these collisions is transformed into the visible light that characterizes the aurora.

:: Super Duper Long Weekend (Again) ::

Yoz... Back from my long long weekend again... Public holiday on Friday, and office closed on Monday... What have I been doing for this whole month (haha... working only 4 days on almost every week) It was supposed to be a fun-filled long weekend, but then, Mr S and me couldn't make up our mind where to go (also cos pretty expensive to go for short-trip) for the long weekend so we decided to juz stay in Singapore... We planned a whole lot of activities but too bad, it didn't realli work out to be what we want.

On Friday, Mr S went for a game of badminton with his poly friends and me stay at home watching DVD till the afternoon... He came to pick me up and we went to JB... Yoohoo.... It's time for seafood again... Went shopping in City Square and Holiday Plaza... Bought a T-shirt for myself and Mr S bought me a Mickey diamante pendant...
Went on to Taman Sentosa for our dinner and we didn't even realised it is oredi 9pm... Along the way to Taman Sentosa, there's some celebration for Vesak Day, took some pictures of it too...It was almost 1am when we reached home... So tired...

Saturday... Supposed to be our hiking day... But as it rain the day before, Mr S says the soil will be loose and it will be very muddy... So, decided to stay at home and watch my DVDs again... It wasn't till the evening then I step out of the house for dinner... Had dinner @ Gluttons Bay... The hokkien mee taste MARVELLOUS... Satays are so-so, BBQ chicken also ok... The bandung drink taste good... Juz the right amount of milk and rose syrup...

Sunday = rest day... Rest @ home the whole day again, with Mr S doing his thesis and me back to DVDs... Cooked a sumptuous dinner for him and family... Well, the sumptuous dinner consists of Mom's recipe of Vinegar wings, Cream of Corn, steam eggs and vege... Yummy yummy... Everything was wiped off... Went to Mustafa with Royden and sis at around 10.30pm... Siao right, so late still go Mustafa... But it's so fun... There's so much to buy at Mustafa... Reach home almost 1am and I'm back to my DVDs...

Monday, office closed... Laze around for the whole day... Wanted to go KTV but I'm so darned lazy... Laze till evening then I start to prepare myself for class... Last lesson, die die also muz go... Hahhaha...

Well, that's about all for my super duper long weekend...

:: Gloomy thoughts ::

Was so sick yesterday... Gastric flu... Hate that kind of feeling... Ended up sleeping at home the whole day long. No strength for anything, not even for food.

Well, I may be over sensitive... Sometimes I longed for being single again... It doesn't matter if there is no one to share your happiness or sadness... As it is, I am not sure of what I want anymore... People are happily chasing after their dreams... But here I am, being indecisive...

Izzit my fault to be thinking faster than anyone of u? I do wish I can slow down my pace, not be so fast in my thinking and juz be a simple woman... Well, you may think that I am not that fast or I am not that complicated. But, well, that's juz your thinking... I'm juz blabbering too much here... Sometimes I wish to shout: "I HAD ENOUGH!"

I wish time can turn back to 2 yrs back when I'm still the happy me...

Met up with Jeff and Clarice for a BBQ session in the late afternoon.... Didn't book any pit, but we juz pitch a tent, bought food, drinks and a portable mini BBQ pit... It was so fun even though it's juz the 4 of us... Eat drink and be merry... Spend the night away chatting and laughing... It was fun indeed... Let's do it again some other day...

:: Man with JRT in Orchard Road ::

As the title says, Man with JRT in Orchard Road

I was on my way to Plaza Singapura on Saturday afternoon when I saw this man with his Jack Russell. The JRT is such a cute little darling... But that man is realli too much. He was riding on the bicycle with the poor JRT following him. The JRT was without collar or being leash. It seems like an abandon dog to me... She was crossing the road herself with an occassional glance from the man riding the bicycle. No one knows if the JRT belongs to that man or not. So after crossing 2 roads, flooded with people and cars, (the JRT could have been knock down by a car or trampled by we human)it started walking around the open space in front of Plaza Singapura.

I couldn't stand it anymore. I went up to the man asking him if the dog belongs to him. Yes! Indeed the dog belongs to him. He can even stare at me and say she won't bite. Now the thing is, it's not a matter of whether the dog will bite or not. But he is actually risking her life. A dog is a life too. You should be responsible for it. What will the man do if the dog is being run over by a car?

I shouted at him, telling him he is being a very irresponsible dog owner. He stare at me and cycle off, leaving the poor dog running after him...

I realli cannot stand this kind of things happening in our society. My frenz say that I'm being a "busybody". I shouldn't have go up to him and tell him off.

Why are Singaporeans becoming so cold-blooded? Maybe we realli should not care a hoot about people's business? I just wish that this society will be a better place to live in with people caring for one another.

It's been a long week... Preparing for my mid-term paper... It is the first time i'm so nervous about mid-term paper... But I was darn slow... Take 1 whole week to study 1 chapter... Hmmmm actually I took my own sweet time to study... Well, it's finally over, now I've got to put my "heart and soul" into our project... Dateline is due on 10 May but we haven start a single line for the report... Hmm.. Nvm, wait for Vin vin to start... Hahaha...

Oh ya... My Jandy is 6... Bake a cake on Sunday and celebrated 1 day earlier for her... She's so cute... Know how to pose in front of the camera with her pinkish birthday cake.

:: The Perfect Birthday Dinner ::

Like I mention in my previous post, we gonna go to a secret place for dinner...
Alright... I'll let the secret out... We went to My Secret Garden... It was a lush, cosy and right place for some quiet nights out with your loved ones...

The waiter and waitress there are courteous and friendly. We ordered Cream of Carrot, it tastes delicious and was serve in a very nice bowl. Rib-eyed steak for each of us... It was done just nice, the chef obviously did not use a lot of seasoning on the steak, retaining its orginal flavour (thumbs up). We wanted some desserts and the server recommended we try the triple choc or tiramisu... I'm greedy... I want both... It was so good that I wanted more (But I'm too full)
Me and Dar enjoyed the night together thoroughly...

:: Morning crowd ::

I believe all of us heard of the saying: "The early bird catches the worms"
All these while, taking a cab (fares are reimbursable) to work in the morning was a breeze... Mind you, I start work at 7am and I usually leave home around 6.40am(It is onli a 10 mins drive to my office) Recently, there has been too many early souls... Waking up as early as me, trying to overtake one another for the cab... Worse still, there's always this auntie still dress in her pyjamas dashing past me, trying to get a cab to her god-damned place... I mean, Auntie, where are you going in that torn and tattered pyjamas??!! Dun tell me you are going to work or are you are having an affair with some old man staying in my block and you are rushing home so that your old man at home won't realise you are out the whole night?

Darn this whole thing! Sometimes I even have to call a cab at this early hour in order to get to work... People! I really hate to be an uncivilised Singaporean who is always trying to vie for cabs with you people.

:: The making of Jim Jim birthday Cake ::

It's Sunday again... Had an intensive seminar for RMD yesterday... Was so bored from it... Well, enough of tat... I'm not here to whine about how boring the class was.

It was supposed to be a surprise for Dar... But since he stay over for the weekend, might as well recruit his help (Heehee)... My First Cake making experience... We had all our ingredients ready and there we are, starting our cake making session... First we try to mix the eggs and sugar together... It was my first time using an electic whisk (Gosh! It can be pretty dangerous wor!) Initially, everything was ok... But just as Dar was talking to me, I forgot that I'm holding the whisk and left the bowl... Whah!!! the mixture start to splatter around... Hahaha... (I think that's the fun part of making a cake) Start to clear the mess and continue... Finally, everything is ready... We gonna put the mixture in the oven for 30 minutes... (Pray hard the cake turns out well!)

*Ding* Finally the 30 minutes wait is over... The cake was.............. GORGEOUS! At that instant, I was so proud of myself for baking such a nice cake on my first attempt... Now it's the decorating part... Dar help out with the decor... He put lotsa and lotsa of chocolates on the cake... Ewwww... How sinful... Hahaha... Finally, we just have to put in the fridge to firm the cake and it will be ready...

Made pasta for Dar in the evening too... This is a pre-celebration of his birthday! We gonna go some place for dinner on Tuesday too (Shhh... Keep the location a secret first)
